Marshall University School-Based Mental Health Scholars Program

Lucia Meyer, MBA, MSW, is the Project Director for the Marshall University School-Based Mental Health Scholars Program. This program supports cohorts of graduate students seeking careers in School Counseling, School Psychology, and School Social Work by providing tuition benefits and paid internships in high-need areas in exchange for a commitment by the students to work additional years in a high-need West Virginia school after graduation. Lucia completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Southern California and her Master of Business Administration at Louisiana State University Shreveport. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker in the states of Ohio and West Virginia with experience working in community mental health, school systems, and private practice. Lucia continues to work in private practice during evening hours only.
