Scott Lemley
Director
Scott Lemley is the MHAT (Mental Health Awareness Training) Project Director for the MU Center of Excellence for Recovery at Marshall University, where he oversees multiple training opportunities for counties in Region 5 of West Virginia. He received a B.A. from Marshall University in 2005 and an M.A. from Old Dominion University in 2008. Before coming to the Center of Excellence for Recovery Scott worked for the City of Huntington for 13 years for the Huntington Police Department, Huntington’s Office of Drug Control Policy, and as Executive Director of Development and Planning. During this time his work has also allowed him to help on various special projects for the City of Huntington including; helping develop the winning proposal 2017 Bloomberg Mayor’s Challenge, and the winning proposal for the NLC Capstone Challenge 2022. Scott also worked as a Fusion Liaison Officer for the West Virginia Fusion Center and was a member of Governor Justice’s transition team on drug policy.
