West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network (WVCRN)

The West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network (WVCRN) is an innovative partnership, offering peer recovery support services on nine higher education campuses including:

  • BridgeValley Community and Technology College
  • Bluefield State University
  • Concord University
  • Marshall University
  • New River Community and Technical College
  • Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College
  • West Virginia Osteopathic School of Medicine
  • West Virginia State University
  • West Virginia University Institute of Technology

The Network is a resource for information, training, and technical assistance for any West Virginia college or university that wants to create a recovery community. Through support, education, and campus advocacy, WVCRN aims to create an inclusive environment and supportive community to help students, faculty, and staff thrive.

This project is supported by federal State Opioid Response funding, which originates from the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
